Hillsboro - Mrs. Elsie W. Allen, 84, of Hillsboro, was fatally stricken at her home at 5:50 p.m. Thursday. She was a Hillsboro area resident for the last 61 years and was a member of Phanuel Lutheran Church and its ladies aid. She was born at Newberry Jan 19, 1894, a daughter of James and Emma Bynum Watson. She married Byron M. Allen Oct 17, 1917 at Versailles, Ohio. He died in 1972. Surviving are a son, Herman L of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. George (Esther) Gooding of Crawfordsville and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here with burial in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. The Rev. John Stacy will officiate. Friends may call at Wallace. The Rev.
